Seventh month of the year is July and this month is month of fasts and devotion. Doctor’s day is celebrated on 1st July and all the doctors celebrate this day with respect. Guru Purnima is celebrated on 5th July and all the teachers are worshipped on this day. Teachers give us the most important lessons of life and they help us to lead towards the path of success.
Students perform different programs and cultural events for teachers and speech is given for teachers. World population day is marked on 11th July and awareness is spread to control the population. International Nelson Mandela day is celebrated on 17th July and life history of Sir Nelson Mandela is discussed on this day. Hariyali Amavasya is celebrated on 21th July and on this day fair and cultural program is organized in small districts and villages. People enjoy these fair with full enthusiasm and many shops are established in these fairs. In this month there are days where people do fasting in the name of gods and they worship for their health and wealth. Many massive cultural activities are organized in the temples and bright and colorful decorations are done. Lunch and dinners are organized in temples for poor people known as Ann Daan. The food is donated in charitable trust as well so that poor people can be feed. 28th July is marked as world nature conservation day and importance of conserving natural resources is explained.
